A Certified Cozy Net Zero Cabin

The owners of this 1970’s cabin were looking for a renovation design to bring the outdated, energy inefficient building up to date. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing with modern finishes throughout, this cabin is now labeled CHBA Net Zero Renovation (the 1st label of its kind in BC). Thanks to updated EuroLine 4700 Series Passive House rated windows, doors, and insulation the owners are now able to enjoy this cabin by the lake year round.

The house does not have “natural” gas installed, only electric along with a wood burning fireplace and BASF’s Neopor Insulation on the exterior with Air Solutions AeroBarrier.  This is truly an amazing Passive House that everyone involved can be proud of!
